NORWICH FACE WEST BROM

Norwich City will travel to The Hawthorns to face fellow English Premier League club West Bromwich Albion after the two sides were drawn to face each other in the 4th round of the prestigious FA Cup.

This means that The Canaries will face The Baggies twice in the month of January, with one match being in the English Premier League, which is scheduled to be held next Saturday.

The League match between the two sides was originally slated to be held in February but a Premier League rescheduling meant that the fixture was brought forward by a couple of weeks to January.

The two sides have long been rivals, particularly during their time in the lower leagues of English football and the last time The Canaries were in the English Premier League, the two sides were relegated together on the same day. West Bromwich Albion have been in decent form this season and are lying in mid table in the English Premier League but Norwich City, which gained promotion only this season, have been something of a revelation, getting results where nobody expected them to.

Under manager Paul Lambert, the Canaries have been playing football without fear throughout the season, much like Blackpool last season, and this is not just at Carrow Road. In fact, they have been quite good away from home and managed to push champions Manchester United to the brink, a match they lost 2-0 but deserved a draw at least, if not a win.

The Baggies, who are looking to push for a European spot by finishing in the top 7 will also need to be aware of the threat posed by the Yellow and Greens.
